Privacy Policy

Kosher Sports by ASH ("we," "us," or "our") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding that information.

1. Information We Collect

When you create an account, we collect your email address and a securely hashed version of your password. We never store passwords in plain text. If you subscribe to a paid plan, your payment is processed by Stripe (web and Android) or by Apple via the App Store (iOS) — we never see or store your full card number, card details, or billing address.

We also store your in-app preferences, such as your favorite teams, preferred sport, and timezone, to personalize your experience.

If you enable push notifications, the OneSignal SDK on your device generates a push subscription identifier that we associate with your user account so we can deliver notifications you opted into. We do not collect or store the underlying device token ourselves; OneSignal manages the device-to-user mapping.

2. How We Use Your Information

Your email address is used solely to:

— Create and manage your account

— Send essential service communications (such as password reset emails)

— Process subscription billing

— Send the morning email digest if you are on Tier 3 and have explicitly opted in

We do not use your email for marketing or advertising without your explicit consent. We do not sell your data to any third party. We do not display ads anywhere in the app.

3. Third-Party Services

Stripe — handles payment processing on web and Android. Stripe's own privacy and security policies govern how they handle your payment data.

Apple — handles payment processing for iOS subscriptions through the App Store. Apple's privacy policy governs your transaction with them.

RevenueCat — manages subscription state for iOS purchases. RevenueCat receives the anonymous subscription identifier and your in-app user ID; it does not receive your name, email, or payment details.

Supabase — provides our secure database infrastructure. Your account data is stored on Supabase servers.

OneSignal — delivers push notifications. OneSignal receives your in-app user ID and a device push token; it does not receive your name or email.

ESPN — provides sports scores, standings, and news. We do not share any of your personal data with ESPN.

Anthropic — powers the ASH AI chatbot (Tier 3 only). Messages you send to ASH may be processed by Anthropic's API. Do not include sensitive personal information in chat messages.

4. Account Deletion and Data Retention

You may delete your account and all associated data at any time from inside the app: open Profile → Account → Delete Account. Deletion is immediate and permanent: your account row, all favorites, subscription records, notification preferences, and push subscription identifier are all removed. This cannot be undone.

If you cannot access your account, email ashinc136@gmail.com from the address you registered with and we will delete your account on your behalf within 48 hours.

5. Security

We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your data. Passwords are hashed using bcrypt before storage. All data is transmitted over HTTPS. Access to our database is restricted to authorized services only.

6. Children's Privacy

Kosher Sports by ASH is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.

7. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
